In 1992, I chose to follow a different path in my life. By doing so, I found the greatest love of my life. Jesus Christ stretched out His arms on that cross to show me exactly how much He loved me.

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

His gift is nothing I can buy or earn with good deeds. It's freely given with great love and all He asks in return is that I love and serve Him.

"For by Grace are ye saved through faith; and not that of yourselves: it is the gift of God." Eph 2:8

He is a constant companion -- a friend and a refuge when the burdens of the world become too heavy.

"God is our refuge and Strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  Isiah 53:5

Have you considered turning your burdens over to Him?

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28
